2013 / USA

Boston Public Library in Boston, USA

The 2nd annual THINK Film Festival took place across the street from the site of the Boston Marathon Bombings mere weeks after the attack. The Raab Lecture Hall of the Boston Public Library provided incredible facilities to take this humble festival beyond its classroom beginnings.

Students became the driving force behind this year’s festival, led by Grade 11 student Willem B. This was also the year the THINK Film Festival opened to outside contributors and filmmakers, targeting students around the world with a story to tell. We worked with Global Potential in Boston and Garland High School in Dallas, Texas to collect submissions from 11 different countries.
